Kelp DAO announced via X that it has filed a lawsuit against LayerZero (ZRO) and co-founder Bryan Pellegrino in connection with the rsETH LayerZero bridge hack that occurred this year. Kelp DAO claimed in the complaint, “This hack resulted from LayerZero’s security failure. LayerZero did not share with us the vulnerabilities and risks inherent in its technology and failed to prevent the infiltration of its security infrastructure, allowing attackers to exploit it.” Previously, Kelp DAO suffered a hack worth $292 million in April.
