According to the '2026 Asset Survey' conducted by major US bank U.S. Bank targeting 5,000 adults, 48% of Gen Z and 47% of Millennials rated emerging investments such as cryptocurrency as more attractive than traditional investments. However, interest in cryptocurrency did not translate into trust. Responses indicating that trust in cryptocurrency had decreased over the past year were 30% for Gen Z and 28% for Millennials. In contrast, responses indicating increased trust in stocks were 33% and 29% respectively. Furthermore, 76% of Gen Z and 79% of Millennials responded that traditional investments are most suitable for long-term wealth building.
