Galaxy Research analyzed that approximately 1,971.03 BTC, worth about $161 million, was transferred externally from four Bitcoin whale addresses that had been dormant for over 10 years, over the past two weeks. According to Decrypt, Galaxy Research stated, "The whale addresses that reawakened from dormancy moved these amounts between September 6th (local time) and 22nd. Among them, the whale with the largest holdings held approximately 1,260.78 BTC, worth about $100.63 million, and had been dormant for over 10 years since July 2016. It is estimated that this address purchased BTC at an average price of $652, and is currently recording a return rate of approximately 12,122%. Furthermore, three out of these four addresses had a sender tag 'Noah Doe', which refers to a lawsuit filed in a New York court by an anonymous plaintiff and two entities, declaring thousands of dormant Bitcoin addresses as abandoned property and demanding ownership," it explained.
