China AMC (Hong Kong), a Chinese asset management company, announced that it has completed a digital asset investment using the Hong Kong dollar stablecoin HKDAP in cooperation with Standard Chartered Bank and others. This marks the first instance of HKDAP being used for digital asset investment in Hong Kong. HKDAP is a Hong Kong dollar-pegged stablecoin primarily designed by Standard Chartered Bank Hong Kong and issued by Anchor Financial, a licensed stablecoin issuer. China AMC stated that this case demonstrates the ability to link Hong Kong dollar stablecoins with digital financial assets within a regulated framework.
