Oracle Protocol Switchboard announced that it will cease operations and completely halt existing support services starting on the 25th. Core developer Switchboard Technology Labs explained, "After reviewing all possible alternatives, we decided to wind down the remaining business." Switchboard decided to immediately discontinue related services following a recent security vulnerability incident and the departure of other contributors and node operators. Protocols currently using Switchboard were advised to immediately migrate to other oracles such as Pyth and RedStone to avoid service disruption. Switchboard had previously secured $7.5 million in Series A investment in May 2024, led by Tribe Capital and RockawayX.
