Argentine cryptocurrency exchange Lemon announced its withdrawal from the Brazilian market, citing the high capital requirements needed to obtain a local license. Lemon explained that it decided to withdraw because acquiring a cryptocurrency business license from the Central Bank of Brazil would require an excessive amount of capital compared to its local business scale. The Lemon Card service will terminate on September 30, and Brazilian user accounts will be automatically closed on October 16.
