Arbitrum (ARB) staged a double-digit surge, bolstered by the fundamental positive news that Robinhood chain's profits directly flow into its treasury, and the inflow of capital rotation across altcoins.
According to cryptocurrency market data aggregator CoinMarketCap on September 4 (local time), Arbitrum recorded a 11.7% increase over the past 24 hours, reaching $0.13914. This figure more than doubles Bitcoin's (BTC) gain of 5.31% during the same period, indicating that Arbitrum's unique individual factors strongly drove buying sentiment amid the broader market's risk-on appetite.
The key catalyst for this rally is the news of its own ecosystem's revenue generation. Market experts reported that unique profits generated from the Robinhood chain are flowing into Arbitrum's Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) treasury, acting as direct buying pressure for the token and creating a distinct momentum differentiated from the broader market rally.
The capital rotation across altcoins and explosive on-chain trading volume also demonstrated upward momentum. With CoinMarketCap's Altcoin Season Index surging by 15.62% in just 24 hours, Arbitrum's 24-hour trading volume exceeded $503 million. This indicates that it was not merely a low-liquidity pump, but rather a structure where substantial capital genuinely flowed in, supporting the price breakout.
From a technical structure perspective, Arbitrum is showing signs of short-term overheating. With the Relative Strength Index (RSI) soaring to 76.51, entering the overbought zone, the immediate key resistance level is the 127.2% Fibonacci extension at $0.1406. If Arbitrum firmly defends the $0.13 support level, it could attempt further upside to the $0.159 Fibonacci extension; however, if the support level breaks, there is a risk of a correction down to $0.105.
The future market trend is expected to be heavily influenced by the release of the August Consumer Price Index (CPI) on September 11, which is directly linked to the US Federal Reserve's (Fed) interest rate policy outlook. Whether inflation indicators can continue to support the market's risk-on sentiment, or if an unexpected shock from higher-than-anticipated figures leads to short-term profit-taking, will be a key variable determining Arbitrum's ability to stabilize above $0.1406.
