Blockchain security firm PeckShield reported via X that "according to on-chain analyst Specter, Notional Finance's escrow contract was exploited, and an estimated $1.7 million worth of DAI and USDC was stolen." The attacker swapped the stolen funds for 689.2 ETH and then deposited them into the cryptocurrency mixing protocol Tornado Cash.
