U.Today reported that malware targeting cryptocurrency wallets across multiple networks, including Solana, Ethereum, Polygon, BNB Chain, Avalanche, Arbitrum, Base, and Phantom, was discovered on a fake website promoting downloads of a leaked version of Rockstar Games' new title, 'GTA 6'. According to cybersecurity firm Malwarebytes, the site demands $50 or 1 SOL for the leaked version and then prompts users to connect their wallets. If a user approves a fraudulent transaction, not only the purchase amount but also all cryptocurrency in their wallet can be stolen. Previously, an anonymous hacker who leaked unreleased GTA 6 footage promoted their self-issued Solana-based memecoin CYBERLEEK and then sold off all holdings just before the official gameplay reveal.
