Bitcoin is hovering below the $78,000 mark, showing a bearish trend. CryptoPotato analyzed that after repeatedly failing to break through the $80,000-$82,000 resistance zone, it has not been able to set a new short-term high, leading to increased volatility and a growing possibility of a downward correction. According to Binance's BTC/USDT 1-week liquidation heatmap, a large volume of liquidations is concentrated in the current price range of $74,000-$77,000. If the short-term support line breaks, this supply zone could act as a strong magnet, significantly increasing the risk of accelerating downward liquidations. While there are still liquidations around the $80,000 mark for the upside, in the current situation where upward momentum has been lost, the downside liquidity absorption scenario is more convincing. If buying pressure fails to quickly recover the $80,000 level, it is expected to correct to the mid-$70,000s before testing the $72,000-$74,400 support zone.
