BNB Chain announced that it is building a new Layer 1 blockchain optimized for artificial intelligence (AI) agent-based trading. According to its H2 2026 technology roadmap, the new chain aims to reduce transaction pre-confirmation time to less than 50 milliseconds (ms), achieving fast execution speeds comparable to centralized exchanges (CEX) while maintaining self-custody of assets. In particular, it has introduced a 'TxStream' architecture that eliminates public mempools to prevent front-running. This structure directly delivers transactions to block producers, fundamentally blocking sandwich attacks and similar exploits. Block producers are replaced every 200ms to minimize the risk of monopolization or censorship. With the addition of parallel execution and other features, it is being developed with a target throughput of over 100,000 TPS. The chain is scheduled to launch its testnet by the end of 2026, followed by the mainnet in early 2027.
