Telegram Wallet (Wallet in Telegram) has reached a major milestone in user activity, riding on the effects of Toncoin (TON) integration. The custodial cryptocurrency service embedded within Telegram surpassed $1 billion in perpetual futures trading volume over the past month, emerging as a key channel for TON ecosystem expansion.

According to U.Today on May 7 (local time), Telegram Wallet has continued its rapid growth since Pavel Durov's announcement of TON integration. The announcement propelled TON to the center of the market, and Toncoin's price more than doubled in less than a week. Interest in Telegram-based cryptocurrency services also grew.

Telegram Wallet processed over $1 billion in perpetual futures trading volume over the past month. U.Today reported that trading volume soared as trading activity flowed directly through Telegram's native wallet infrastructure. A significant portion of this trading volume was reportedly led by Toncoin.

The TON integration plan was identified as a key factor driving user engagement across Telegram's cryptocurrency services. Wallet trading activity expanded as users opted for Telegram-based platforms for faster and more seamless cryptocurrency transactions.

The user base also approached 1 billion. U.Today reported that, driven by the rapid adoption trend triggered by TON integration, Telegram Wallet has neared 1 billion users worldwide. Telegram has already established itself as one of the world's largest messaging platforms, and TON integration served as an opportunity to further expand the utility of its wallet features.

U.Today reported that the combination of Telegram and TON could also influence further price movements of Toncoin. With a monthly trading volume of $1 billion and a user base approaching 1 billion, Telegram Wallet is demonstrating a trend of cryptocurrency trading spreading within the messenger.
