RLUSD, a regulatory-compliant stablecoin issued by Ripple, has been listed on the global exchange OKX. RLUSD is driving an explosion of liquidity in the XRP ecosystem and is expected to become a powerful medium for attracting Wall Street capital onto the blockchain.

Asheesh Birla, CEO of Evernorth, emphasized the role of RLUSD in an interview with the crypto-specialized YouTube channel Paul Barron Network on May 2 (local time). RLUSD, launched by Ripple, operates on the XRP Ledger. Birla affirmed that it will change the game for the ecosystem. He stated, "OKX supporting the RLUSD and XRP trading pair is a significant turning point." It is key to the liquidity supply that the community has long awaited.

Evernorth offers an innovative channel for traditional investors. It allows investment in XRP without complex wallet creation procedures. Investors can purchase XRPN, Evernorth's stock, on Robinhood or E*TRADE. Birla explained that Evernorth actively manages liquid assets as a Digital Asset Advisor (DAT), thereby creating additional revenue.

The macroeconomic environment of the virtual asset market is stagnant. However, institutional adoption of asset tokenization is at an all-time high. Approximately $23 billion worth of stocks have been tokenized to date. Considering the overall market size, the growth potential is enormous. Major financial institutions like JP Morgan, BlackRock, and Strategy are already operating dedicated departments. This is a movement to establish blockchain as the standard for financial infrastructure.

The expansion of the decentralized finance ecosystem based on the XRP Ledger is also a notable factor. Partners like Flare and Axelar are building yield-generating financial products. It becomes a powerful driver for attracting massive Wall Street capital onto the blockchain.

The Asian market, centered on Korea and Japan, is a future benchmark for the US market. Asian investors are showing a high share of assets. In the US, positive media coverage and exposure of the XRP ticker are continuing. There is a high possibility that the proportion of virtual assets in the average investor's portfolio will expand to about 10%.
