Oliver Harris, the new head of JPMorgan's tokenization platform Kinexys, said, "Asset tokenization is not a panacea for solving liquidity problems. However, I believe this technology is ready to completely dismantle and replace the existing legacy backend systems in the financial industry." According to CoinDesk, he added, "True change does not come from tokenizing individual assets, but from rebuilding the systems that underpin those assets. Technology and regulation are now mature enough. Major banks will begin to reshape how markets operate as they increase investment in blockchain infrastructure."
