Iran's semi-official Tasnim News Agency denied some media reports that Iranian Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf would not accompany Foreign Minister Araghchi to the second round of peace talks with the United States. It also reported that the Iranian government has not yet held any negotiations with the US side in Islamabad. Earlier, the New York Times (NYT) reported, "The Iranian government continues its efforts to resume dialogue with the United States through unofficial channels. However, Iranian Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf is not expected to attend the second round of talks."
