Aave (AAVE) DAO, a cryptocurrency lending protocol, has submitted a governance proposal centered on injecting 25,000 ETH (approximately $58 million) from its treasury to respond to the Kelp DAO rsETH bridge hack, which is valued at approximately $292 million. In the proposal, Aave DAO stated, "The initial estimated loss from the Kelp incident was approximately 163,183 ETH, but after reflecting the subsequent freezing and recovery of hacked assets, it has now decreased to approximately 75,081 ETH. Furthermore, the 'DeFi Alliance,' comprised of Aave service providers and other partners, has so far contributed approximately 14,570 ETH, and it has been decided to borrow up to 30,000 ETH from Mantle (MNT). Additionally, any further donations will be used to repay Mantle's loan."
