Aave Labs has proposed the establishment of a foundation for the integration of its brand and intellectual property rights. According to The Defiant, the foundation will hold Aave IP under the supervision of the DAO. In Phase 1, a legal entity will be established in the Cayman Islands and independent executives will be appointed. The transfer of trademarks, domains, and codebases will be decided through a future governance vote.
