BNY (formerly Bank of New York Mellon), the world's largest custodian bank, is reportedly in discussions with Payward, Kraken's parent company, regarding a broad partnership encompassing digital assets and financial market infrastructure. Citing industry sources, CoinDesk reported that the partnership could cover various areas including cryptocurrency products, custody, asset management, trading, payments, and infrastructure. Services are expected to be provided through Payward's business-to-business (B2B) platform. One source stated, "It could be similar to the infrastructure components of the agreement Payward recently signed with Nasdaq."
