Bitcoin.com reported that the U.S. Congressional Research Service (CRS) analyzed that Congress can clearly define the scope of banks' permissible Bitcoin (BTC) and cryptocurrency-related activities through legislation. The CRS explained, "Federal regulators' approach to banks' cryptocurrency business has varied depending on agency leadership and policy stances. Congress can determine through law whether to permit or restrict specific activities."
