European cryptocurrency trading platform 21bitcoin has launched a service that pays interest on Euro balances. According to Bitcoin Magazine, the platform pays an annual interest rate of 1.21% on Euro balances and also offers an option to receive interest in Bitcoin without exchange fees. The interest rate is variable and subject to German withholding tax. There are no minimum deposit requirements or restrictions on withdrawal periods.
