According to CryptoBriefing, cryptocurrency exchange BitMart has unveiled a preliminary restructuring plan regarding the approximately $319.5 million hacking incident that occurred in December 2021. The plan involves dollarizing user-held assets based on the weighted average price as of July 26, and then offering proportional repayment through available liquid assets or conversion to new tokens. Payments in cash and stablecoins are also possible. BitMart plans to apply for court approval between December and January next year, and the repayment plan will not be finalized until approved.
