Open Standard, a stablecoin project supported by Mastercard, Visa, and Stripe, has officially launched OUSD, with CEO Zach Abrams announcing that a stablecoin economic distribution mechanism has been applied to OUSD. According to CoinDesk, the project plans to distribute the majority of equity to founding partners and other network partners based on their contributions over the next 4-5 years. Partners who meet the minimum participation criteria will receive equity based on OUSD supply and transaction activity. This is intended to encourage partners to promote OUSD circulation rather than simply holding tokens. Specific participation criteria have not been disclosed. Zach Abrams explained, "Founding partners will not receive special profit distribution; instead, the same rules will apply to them as to other partners, and they will be compensated based on OUSD supply."
