Min Byung-duk, who serves as the Senior Vice Chairman of the Democratic Party's Policy Committee, announced that legislation for the Digital Asset Basic Act (Phase 2 legislation) related to stablecoins would be completed within the year, stating, “Most of it will be completed within this year.” According to Edaily, Rep. Min made this statement at the ‘Solana Summit Korea’ held in Seoul on the 30th, saying, “The National Assembly will have responsible discussions on the Digital Asset Basic Act, which harmonizes innovation, financial stability, and user protection.”
