A proposal has been published on the governance forum of DeFi protocol Aave, allowing Sentora, an institutional-only DeFi platform, to independently operate a lending market on Aave V4. Under this model, Sentora would be responsible for market operations, including collateral assets and interest rates, while Aave DAO would retain smart contract ownership and ultimate control. Loan assets will be limited to RLUSD, PYUSD, and OUSD, with USDe, PRIME, mWIN, PST, and kBTC among others used as collateral. Protocol revenue from this market is expected to be split equally between Aave DAO and Sentora, and the proposal is currently in the community feedback phase.
