Near Intents, a NEAR-based cross-chain intent protocol, has blocked attempts to transfer over $50 million in funds related to the Bitget hacking incident, Cointelegraph reported. According to Alex Shevchenko, head of Near Intents, a significant portion of the stolen funds moved across multiple blockchains to the Ethereum network. During this process, Near Intents detected and blocked the transfer of approximately $50 million worth of funds through its proprietary security system, Shield. The blocked funds were subsequently confirmed to have moved to other service providers.
