[Notice] Korea Customs Service, 'Tariff on Japan' Dumojin Customs House Commemorative Ceremony

▲ On the 28th, the Korea Customs Service held a 'Dumojin Customs House (Customs) Commemorative Stone Unveiling Ceremony' at the site of the Dumojin Customs House in Sujeong-dong, Dong-gu, Busan. According to the Korea Customs Service, Joseon was unable to impose customs duties on Japanese imports due to the signing of the Treaty of Ganghwa Island in 1876, but began imposing duties after establishing the Dumojin Customs House in Dumopo, Busan, on September 28, 1878.
