IBM has integrated its digital asset management platform 'Digital Asset Haven' with Swift's shared blockchain ledger and launched a beta version of its self-built system. Through the newly introduced ISO 20022 messaging adapter, financial institutions can execute 24-hour tokenized deposit transactions using existing payment processes without a separate blockchain workflow. The Swift ledger was designed with the participation of over 40 financial institutions, and 17 institutions are currently conducting pilot projects. Additionally, IBM has introduced a self-built system version based on its IBM Z and LinuxONE servers to reduce reliance on public clouds. This allows financial institutions to directly manage stablecoins and tokenized deposits in their data centers under a Crypto Express HSM security environment.
