Startup Iris has raised $43 million in funding to provide on-chain financial services to telecom operators via Avalanche (AVAX). According to Crypto Briefing, the investor is Balesia Group, a family office for telecom businesses in the Americas, and the entire investment was raised from a single investor. Iris operates its platform based on a dedicated Avalanche Layer 1 (L1) blockchain and currently supports on-chain real-time payment and settlement services for telecom companies based in Bolivia and Mexico.
