Raoul Pal, co-founder of Real Vision, stated in an interview with the Wolf Financial Show that Bitcoin (BTC) is a much stronger long-term hedge asset against currency devaluation than Gold. He said, "Due to the expansion of central banks' money supply, the purchasing power of fiat currencies worldwide is decreasing by approximately 8% annually. In contrast, the average annual wage growth rate remains at about 3%, leading to a continuous deterioration of the general public's real purchasing power. The only asset classes that have outpaced the rate of currency devaluation are crypto and tech stocks. Traditional assets like gold and real estate merely defend against currency devaluation. While gold has already reached a mature stage and has limitations, Bitcoin possesses the same scarcity as gold but is in an earlier adoption stage, giving it significantly greater future upside potential," he explained.
