Eli Lilly and Company (LLY) has once again raised growth expectations by successively releasing strong clinical data for its new obesity and diabetes drugs.

According to Benzinga on September 15 (local time), Eli Lilly will unveil Phase 2 and Phase 3 data for its cardiovascular and metabolic disease pipeline at the 62nd Annual Meeting of the European Association for the Study of Diabetes in Milan, Italy. In the Phase 3 TRIUMPH-2 study, adults with obesity and type 2 diabetes achieved an average maximum weight loss of 20.8%, or 49.6 pounds, over 80 weeks.
