US Republican Senator John Kennedy said he was not surprised by the failure of the Clarity Act vote, according to Eleanor Terrett, host of the US podcast 'Crypto in America'. John Kennedy added, "I don't think the bill is completely dead. The problem is that we will likely have to wait until the lame-duck session of Congress to address this issue." US Senator Ted Cruz also quoted the movie "The Princess Bride," saying, "There's a big difference between dead and mostly dead. I hope the (Clarity Act) comes back to life," and emphasized, "Democrats are playing political games and siphoning cryptocurrency activities and jobs overseas."
