Jeff Roberts, a cryptocurrency editor at Fortune magazine, cited an FBI affidavit related to the seizure of Hamas's cryptocurrency, revealing that Hamas internally instructed its members to avoid using Binance and instead use Trust Wallet, Ledapay, OKX, KAST, and Bybit. He also quoted a Chainalysis report, stating, "Hamas used burner wallet accounts to receive donations, but they were caught because they used the same wallets to top up transaction fees (gas fees)."
