U.S. Bitcoin financial services firm River projected in a report that Bitcoin (BTC) could rise to $250,000-$840,000 within the next 3-5 years. River stated, “Currently, only about 4% of the global population holds Bitcoin, and institutional investors, who manage about half of global financial assets, have begun to seriously incorporate BTC following the launch of U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs in 2024. In particular, while 29 out of the top 30 registered investment advisors (RIAs) in the U.S. hold Bitcoin, the median BTC allocation in their portfolios is only about 0.1%. If 20-40% of overall investment portfolios incorporate Bitcoin and the average BTC allocation expands to 2-4% over the next 3-5 years, $1.3 trillion-$5.3 trillion could flow into BTC. This would translate to a BTC price of $250,000-$840,000,” the firm analyzed.
