Flop Labs, an AI agent project with Arthur Hayes as CEO, announced that it is building an exchange where GPU computing resources can be bought and sold. Flop Labs explained via X that "NVIDIA generated $89 billion in revenue from data center computing in one quarter (up 117% year-over-year), but the pricing information for GPU usage fees is not standardized, so you have to directly contact suppliers to find out the fees. In Flop, AI agents purchase computing resources from miners using FLOP, and validators re-execute a portion of the actually performed computing tasks to verify the basis of the price used in the transaction."
