Strategy (MSTR) STRC preferred stock rebounded to a 7-week high, but Wall Street lowered its target price by up to $60 due to a deteriorating outlook for Bitcoin (BTC).
According to cryptocurrency media outlet Coingape on August 4 (local time), Strategy's stock price closed at $94, up 1.69%. Strategy sold 1,638 BTC and used the proceeds to buy back $81.2 million worth of STRC preferred stock.
Cantor Fitzgerald lowered Strategy's target price from $212 to $186. This is a result of lowering the Bitcoin forecast for August 2027 from $111,000 to $98,000.
