The number of real-world asset (RWA) holders on the XRP Ledger has surged by over 25% in just one month.
According to cryptocurrency media outlet U.Today on August 4 (local time), the number of RWA holders on the XRP Ledger increased by 25.16% over the past month. This growth was particularly notable as it coincided with Ripple's expansion of XRP Ledger infrastructure, targeting the adoption of tokenized assets by institutions.
Ripple recently announced new investments in two major companies to strengthen the XRP Ledger infrastructure. Ripple is pursuing a strategy to develop the XRP Ledger into a core platform for institutional finance and real-world asset tokenization.
Currently, over 1,000 developers and businesses are building services and ventures on the XRP Ledger. The network is expanding its institutional participation base by emphasizing enterprise-grade stability, scalability, and cost-efficient transaction environments.
In contrast to the increase in RWA holders, the stablecoin market has not shown a clear recovery. The stablecoin market capitalization on the XRP Ledger decreased by 9.04% to $901.4 million during the same period.
The number of stablecoin holding addresses increased by 0.92% over 30 days, reaching over 60,240. While the XRP Ledger is expanding its base of real-world asset and stablecoin holders, the funding volumes in the two markets have shown divergent trends.
