Cryptocurrency trading platform Robinhood (HOOD) has received FCA approval to offer crypto services in the UK, CoinDesk reported. Robinhood UK was added to the FCA's register of cryptoasset firms as of July 31, and its existing FCA registration was recognized as fulfilling anti-money laundering (AML) requirements. The registration scheme for cryptoasset firms has been in effect since 2020, and more than 50 companies, including traditional financial giants like Ripple, Kraken, BlackRock, and BNY, have currently received approval.
