Morgan Stanley (MS)'s MSSE attracted $5 million on its debut day, leading Ethereum (ETH) spot ETFs to overtake Bitcoin.
According to crypto media outlet Bitcoin.com on July 29 (local time), the Morgan Stanley Ethereum Trust (MSSE) recorded a net inflow of approximately $5 million on its launch day. The total net inflow for US Ethereum spot ETFs was tallied at $14.53 million.
Funds flowed into three products, including MSSE. Approximately $3.5 million flowed into ETHA, and about $5.9 million into ETHB. The newly launched MSSE contributed approximately $5 million, increasing the net inflow volume of Ethereum spot ETFs.
In contrast, $49.73 million flowed out of Bitcoin (BTC) spot ETFs. An outflow of $54.84 million from IBIT surpassed the $5.11 million inflow generated by other products.
Ethereum spot ETFs also attracted $11.7 million the previous day. On the same day, $11.6 million flowed out of Bitcoin spot ETFs. Ethereum products recorded stronger fund flows than Bitcoin products for two consecutive days.
