Crypto mining company Core Scientific (CORZ) has reported a $41.9 million loss after terminating its Bitcoin mining chip purchase agreement with Jack Dorsey's Block, according to Protos. Core Scientific had previously paid Block an advance of at least $67.9 million, and the remaining delivery obligations have been canceled due to the contract termination. Meanwhile, Core Scientific announced that it signed a 15-year lease agreement with AMD for 529MW, just one day before terminating the contract with Block, and expects over $14 billion in contract revenue from this deal.
