Cointelegraph reported that JPMorgan Chase significantly expanded its holdings of Bitcoin (BTC) spot ETFs in the first quarter of this year, according to its 13F filing. The filing shows that JPMorgan Chase's BlackRock IBIT holdings increased from approximately 3 million shares in Q4 2025 to 8.3 million shares in Q1 this year, a 174% increase quarter-over-quarter. During the same period, holdings of Fidelity FBTC (approx. 900%) and Bitwise BITB (approx. 450%) also significantly increased. In this regard, the media explained, "Despite Bitcoin's price falling by more than 22% in the first quarter, JPMorgan Chase increased its holdings of cryptocurrency-related assets."
