The Block reported, citing SosoValue data, that Morgan Stanley's BTC spot ETF, MSBT, has not recorded a single day of net outflow in the month since its launch on April 8. During the same period, all other ETFs experienced net outflows. Amy Oldenburg, Morgan Stanley's Head of Digital Assets, stated at Consensus 2026 in Miami, USA, that "the first one to two weeks were mostly voluntary purchases by clients, not by advisors." The media predicted, "Morgan Stanley has approximately 16,000 advisors who manage over $9.3 trillion in client assets. If they are able to directly recommend and sell MSBT to clients, the inflow volume could significantly increase, as there are no competitors distributing ETFs with their own staff."
