The U.S. Congress is reportedly pushing to pass the CLARITY Act before July 4th. According to CoinDesk, at the Consensus 2026 event held in Miami, Patrick Witt, White House Cryptocurrency Advisor, emphasized, "We are planning a schedule to start deliberations in the Senate Banking Committee this month, proceed with the Senate floor vote in June, and conclude with a House vote before Independence Day. There's little room for error in the schedule, but it's a perfectly achievable goal. It will be a meaningful gift to mark the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States."
