During a panel discussion at Consensus 2026, currently being held in Miami, USA, executives from Ondo Finance (ONDO), Robinhood, and Babylon Labs (BABY) unanimously stated, "While Wall Street financial firms are actively adopting cryptocurrency infrastructure, tokenized real-world assets, and more, regulatory barriers still exist." Among them, Ian de Bode, CSO of Ondo Finance, said, "Even looking at the recent partnership between Broadridge and the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), Wall Street's entry into the cryptocurrency market now seems clear." Robinhood's Nicola White added, "No banks are talking about what blockchain is anymore. They are discussing with us how they can help build blockchain." Nevertheless, he added, "Despite this, institutional adoption of cryptocurrencies is still constrained by robust existing financial infrastructure and regulations."
