Australian-born famous rapper Iggy Azalea is facing a class-action lawsuit related to the Solana-based memecoin MOTHER, CoinTelegraph reported. According to the complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, the plaintiffs claim that Azalea emphasized the practical utility and ecosystem expansion plans of the MOTHER token, but the related content did not lead to actual services. It was specifically pointed out that MOTHER was promoted as if it would be used as a core payment method in Azalea-related businesses such as communication services, online casinos, luxury commerce platforms, and merchandise stores.
