CoinDesk reported that Securitize, a security token platform, is collaborating with Computershare to build tokenization infrastructure that expands the US stock market based on blockchain. Through this partnership, listed companies will be able to issue shares in the form of ‘Tokenized Stock (IST, Issuer-Sponsored Tokens)’ in parallel with existing shares. Securitize explained that investors will therefore be able to hold shares not only through existing securities accounts but also through digital wallets.
