Over Foundation announced last evening that it would cease all service operations for Over Protocol due to financial reasons. As a result, core infrastructure services such as OverWallet, OverNode, RPC endpoints, and block explorers have all been shut down, and the foundation stated that there are no recovery plans. The foundation also explained that although Over Protocol was designed with a decentralized structure, the cessation of services by the operating entity (the foundation) makes it highly likely that the actual chain operation will stop. The foundation stated, "We started with the goal of creating a Layer 1 that anyone could participate in, but we regret not being able to complete it to the end."
