Toss Securities Research Center announced on the 28th that it is publishing the 'GTC Deep DIVE' series, which summarizes the technologies and messages mentioned at NVIDIA's annual developer conference, GTC.
The research center previously attended GTC 2026 held in California, USA, last March and delivered the keynote speech content of NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang in its 'GTC LIVE' on-site report.
GTC Deep DIVE is an extension of that. Through the first report in the series, the research center analyzed the trends in the AI industry.
The report predicted, "The AI industry will expand beyond model competition to focus on ecosystems and platforms." It particularly noted that the theme of the special session held on the third day of GTC was 'Open Frontier Models'.
It pointed out that with the emergence of open AI models, the method of connecting with services and tasks has become more important than whether the model is good, and this is changing the competitive landscape of the industry.
It analyzed that in such a structure, infrastructure and platforms are key, and core players will emerge in various AI-related sectors.
It also noted that memory semiconductor companies would benefit from the increased demand for inference and the growing usage of AI.
Furthermore, it stated that the most impressive word at this GTC was "AI Factory," conveying that CEO Huang emphasized that AI data centers are evolving into digital production factories that generate output.
It explained that to efficiently operate an 'AI factory,' the importance of resolving infrastructure bottlenecks, such as improving power efficiency, will further increase, and optical communication is gaining attention as an alternative to existing electrical connections.
Additionally, the research center stated, "We hope this report helps in understanding the massive trend of AI centered around NVIDIA and establishing one's own investment judgment criteria within it."
