Effective July 1st (local time), the use and installation of cryptocurrency kiosks will be prohibited within the U.S. state of Tennessee. According to Cointelegraph, Tennessee Governor Bill Lee signed a bill classifying the installation of cryptocurrency kiosks as a Class A misdemeanor. As cryptocurrency kiosks are classified as illegal, operators and kiosk installation businesses may face imprisonment for up to 11 months and 29 days, and a fine of up to $2,500.
