The letter refutes the NC Bankers Association's opposition to stablecoin interest, arguing that "the Genius Act has already solved the so-called 'shadow banking' problem by placing stablecoin issuers under federal supervision. A blanket ban on stablecoin interest will not reduce risk but instead drive capital overseas," the letter warned.
