The U.S. Department of the Treasury has added Cambodian Senator Kok An and 28 entities associated with him to the sanctions list for allegedly operating a cryptocurrency fraud network. According to Decrypt, the Treasury Department stated that Kok An is a central figure in a large-scale cryptocurrency fraud case, saying, "He was accused of operating a large-scale cryptocurrency criminal organization through numerous resorts and casinos he owned."
